Lead and customer events tracked in Driftrock

Edited

Driftrock tracks a number of key lead and customer events to help brands and retailers understand lead progress, and measure performance. Each of these events is stitched to a single customer record, allowing you to see the steps they have taken over time.

All of these events can be updated within Driftrock manually, or by sending events to the Driftrock API.

Tracked events are:

Respond to Enquiry (Email)

Responding to the initial Enquiry would be completed within the Driftrock platform, allowing Sales teams to complete initial communication and qualification of the lead. Following this contact, Driftrock would send the lead to your lead management system, inbox or platform.

Follow up - Email

As you communicate with leads over email, you can log these actions in Driftrock and record when you've been in touch with them.

Follow up - Phone call

Phone call events can also be logged in Driftrock, allowing the customer record to be updated with each step of communication.

Test drive taken

Test drive taken would be managed within your Lead Management System, but can be recorded and updated in Driftrock. You would update this value once the customer has completed a test drive.

Order placed

Once an order is placed, you would record the VIN of the order within Driftrock.

Order cancelled

If an order is then cancelled, you would record this and the VIN in Driftrock so that the vehicle returns to the available pool of cars.

Vehicle Registration

When you register a vehicle, you would record the VRM and registration date within Driftrock.

Lost sale

If a lead has progressed to a sales opportunity, but has then been lost, this is recorded in Driftrock, along with the reasoning behind the lost sale.
