Driftrock Website Forms

Driftrock Website Forms (also called Smart Forms) let you capture more leads from your website using high-converting formats that load fast, minimise friction, and automatically enrich every submission with marketing tracking data. You choose the format that fits your campaign, and Driftrock handles validation, deduplication, and routing to your CRM in real time.

What are Driftrock Website Forms?

Driftrock Website Forms are a suite of customisable lead capture widgets you embed on your website using a single JavaScript snippet installed via Google Tag Manager or a custom code block. Once the script is in place, you can activate forms across your site without touching the website code again.

Driftrock Website Forms come in several formats, each designed for different placements and campaign goals. Launcher Forms sit at the bottom edge of the page and expand when a visitor interacts with them. Banners slide in from the top or bottom of the screen, while Slide-ins appear from the side. Inline Forms embed directly into page content, and Button-Triggered Modal Forms appear only when a visitor clicks a specific call-to-action.

Why use Driftrock Website Forms?

Standard CMS forms often lack the routing logic, deduplication, and marketing tracking that automotive teams need. Driftrock Website Forms solve this without developer involvement: you control colours, fonts, fields, and display rules from the Driftrock dashboard, and every lead that comes in carries complete UTM and tracking data, ready for your CRM.

Because forms only load on the URLs you specify, you can show the right form to the right visitor at the right time — a test drive form on model pages, a brochure request on specification pages — without separate deployments. Validated, deduplicated leads reach your CRM within seconds of submission.

How it works

After you install the Driftrock script on your website, you select a form type from the Capture Library and configure it: set your brand colours and copy, define the URL paths where the form should appear, add your questions, and set the trigger timing. When a visitor lands on a page that matches your display rules, the form loads. As soon as the visitor submits their details, Driftrock captures the form data along with UTM parameters and URL tracking, validates the contact details, applies any deduplication rules, and routes the lead to your CRM.

Conditional logic lets you show or hide specific questions based on earlier answers, keeping forms short and reducing drop-off. Any field you want to pre-populate silently (such as a model code or campaign ID) can be added as a hidden static field, so the CRM always receives complete data without asking the customer for it.

Getting started

Prerequisites: Admin access to your Driftrock account and the ability to install a script on your website (via Google Tag Manager or direct code).

  1. Log into Driftrock and go to Settings, then navigate to Website.

  2. Enable the Integration toggle and add your website domains (include both the www and non-www versions).

  3. Choose your installation method: Google Tag Manager or Custom integration.

  4. Install the Driftrock script on every page of your website.

  5. Enable the Widgets toggle to allow forms to appear on your site.

  6. Enable Website Events tracking so Driftrock can enrich leads with session-level marketing data.

  7. In the Capture Library, select Driftrock Forms and click Setup.

  8. Choose your form type, configure colours, copy, questions, consent, and display URLs.

  9. Connect your CRM in the Destinations step and map fields from your form to your CRM fields.

  10. Save and activate the form, then test it by submitting a lead on your staging site and checking that it appears correctly in Driftrock and reaches your CRM.

Tips for getting the most out of Driftrock Website Forms

Add both the www and non-www versions of each URL in the Display URL field to ensure the form loads on all variants of your site. If you are using a CMS, check the platform's documentation for adding custom scripts before installation. Enable the Website Events toggle to preserve UTM attribution when visitors navigate between pages before submitting.
